What we measure
Every row is a real request sent by your browser, timed with performance.now() from send to first response. We only measure that response time, never read page content, and it doesn't reflect page size.
What a browser can't measure
A web page can't send ICMP ping, and can't see DNS, TCP or TLS breakdowns. So we only have end-to-end response time — but on the same machine within the same minute, it's still comparable.
What the labels mean
Failures are retried once, then rechecked with a static probe. Unreachable means nothing came back before the timeout. Possibly filtered means the host answered but the page wasn't handed to us — bot detection, a WAF, or a site refusing to let other origins read it. Plenty of sites say that on purpose, so a site you use daily can show as unreachable here.
Your data
Everything runs in this page and results are never uploaded. A single request goes to api.ipify.org to show your public IP; the report hides it unless you tick the box.
How we choose sites
The list is drawn from a public ranking (Tranco), not our personal picks. “Country” labels the country the site's servers sit in. Tranco list
